I received this question regarding what kind of communications can be used to send data from an impact sensor that will be worn by Athletes (Martial Arts).

I received this question regarding what kind of communications can be used to send data from an impact sensor that will be worn by Athletes (Martial Arts).

There are various options depending on the distance. The assumption, it will be around 50 meters (screen).
(1) Bluetooth - It might not be the best option due to the limitation of the distance from the screen. However, the BT receiver could be nearer to the court but it needs a different network to send to the bigger dashboard

(2) WiFi - This can be a good option. Just ensure it's meant private to the application and not make the WiFi open to other users to avoid congestion.

(3) LoRa - This is a good option to send at a very far distance and consume less power.

(4) 2G/3G -Good distance but costly and power-hungry.
